Q&A with Andy Lark, keynote speaker at Tech Marketers Group Conference
In the lead-up to the NZ Tech Marketers Group Conference, we chat with keynoter Andy Lark about what’s in store for his session. Andy is a globally awarded leader and entrepreneur with significant experience building the world’s technology, online and consumer businesses.
With the inaugural Tech Marketers Group Conference a mere matter of weeks away, we thought we’d take the opportunity to ask a few key questions of our international keynote speaker, Viveka von Rosen. What advice has she got for marketers to make sure we hit the ground running in 2019? And, most importantly, what insights can she give us about the day’s opening session, Creating Explosive Success with Marketing on LinkedIn?
Here’s what she told us…

NEW ZEALAND HI-TECH AWARDS CELEBRATE ALL THAT IS GREAT IN THE TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY
The geeks went glamorous last Friday night, as the hi-tech sector gathered to celebrate the industry’s heroes in the 24th annual version of the awards.
800 people enjoyed a stunning array of companies and individuals who are having an impact on the world with their innovations. In many ways such celebration is not a naturally Kiwi approach, but the Hi-Tech Trust have done a great job at creating an event that pours some fertiliser, rather than weed killer, on these technology tall poppies.
We have all just come off an intensive week of events with Techweek 2018. Being the avid networkers we are, I’m sure you’ll have made some new contacts, if not new friends, while your pile of business cards might be starting to build an impressive pyramid – you know you should convert your networking efforts into something more tangible.
And of course, we hope to see as many of you as possible at this year’s HiTech Awards in Christchurch on the 25th May.
